Appleby Village

Wow! I cannot believe the horrible experience I experienced at this location. I went in to buy a small bottle of vodka and saw another brand near the cashiers which was not labelled with a price so I picked it up and asked the cashier for a price check. She told me the price and I chose that bottle. I then asked my 18 year old to return the other bottle without even thinking about the age limit. The cashier asked me if she had I.D and it hit me what I had just done. I then shouted to my daughter to just drop it off on the closest shelf. The other older man cashier yells at her ‘No bring it here!’ Very rudely! I then said to him to relax it was a complete error. I then turn around to the short stubby blond cashier and she proceeds to tell me she cannot sell me the bottle I want to purchase!! Like what? I have shopped here multiple times a week and buy thousands of dollars in vintage wine every month. The way I was treated by both cashiers was absolutely abhorrent and these two employees should be seriously reprimanded for the way they treated not only me but also my daughter. I will take my vintage business elsewhere.

I went to Fortinos in search of ginger marmalade which I like to spread on bread with butter. Luckily, I found a jar on the shelf with Robertson label "Ginger Preserve". That is what I am looking for. The best part is the low price which I didn't expect. If you go to Metro, they have available a jar of ginger marmalade but their price is much higher. I think I like to shop more at the Fortinos from now on.

Okay, I haven't been in Burlington for quite some time and this was called Appleby Mall then so yeah, it's A LOT different but for the good. Needed a good coat of paint

Has a decent variety of stores. Parking lots are a little wonky but usually pretty easy to find a spot.
