During a recent visit to Bridlewood Mall on Warden Avenue in Scarborough, I discovered a charming shopping destination that blends convenience with a warm community atmosphere. The mall’s compact design makes it easy to navigate for a quick errand or a leisurely day of browsing. Ample parking and a clear layout set a positive tone from the start. Inside, a vibrant mix of independent boutiques and familiar chain stores offers a unique shopping experience. The selection of eateries further enhances the experience, catering to a variety of tastes. Clean, well-lit corridors and comfortable seating areas invite shoppers to pause and relax. Friendly customer service is evident in every store, with staff eager to assist and share local insights. Bridlewood Mall, though modest in size, emphasizes community and convenience. Its welcoming vibe and thoughtful details make it a delightful destination for locals and visitors alike. Overall, Bridlewood Mall offers a perfect blend of practicality and undeniable charm, making every visit memorable.

The sun was shining and it was unusually warm this early November day. Had some errands to run at Bridlewood Mall. The general area is relatively clean and not congested with activity. The parking lot is big and goes right around the mall. For those who haven’t visited in a while, some things are recognizable from the 80’s, however a great deal has changed. The internal infrastructure of the mall is the same. There are two basic levels with escalators at key points. Pretty much most of the old stores are long gone. No more Zellers and Radio Shack. No more McDonald even. They do have a nice grocery store upstairs at the Warden entrance. You can get all sorts of delicious fruits and vegetables at fair prices. The meat section has great variety as well. More inside the mall are different stores for much of your needs. They have places for electronics, general merchandise, dentists, a walk-in clinic, food court, dollar store, women’s clothing, social services and more. I’d say this is a quiet mall with random older folks socializing. Not much excitement which is good. This will give you time to walk around and find some hidden gems. enjoy.

It was my first time visiting this mall. It’s in a good location and has a huge parking lot. In terms of shopping, it has a good variety of different stores. The food court also has many choices of restaurants. TimHortons is located in the middle of the mall. Banks, ATM machines, convenience stores and lottery, Fit4less Gym eyeglasses stores, telecommunication and much more. The door opens at 7:00 am but most of the stores start to open from 9:00 am. The mall is clean and well maintained.

It has always been a mall with very few brand name stores. In the early 70s they had Dominion ( now called Metro), K-Mart, Towers, Shoppers drug Mart, Home Hardware, Food City ( which later on was replaced by Miracles Mart, then Price Choppers). That was good, but in 2025, only Metro and Shopper's remain. The rest of the mall is full of Mom and Pop shops. There are a few Chinese restaurant, but for the main stream shopper it's not that appealing. It's an okay mall, for quick local small services like cell phone repair or a quick pair of shoes that'll only be used in the backyard. The food court has Popeyes and Burgers King (used to be McDonald's) as well as Tim Hortons, plus a few Mom and Pop shops.
