I feel compelled to share this experience, as I’m sure many others in the neighborhood have faced something similar. I've lived in Windsor Park/Elboya since I was 12 years old — back when Foodvale was around and Britannia Hardware was still open. One of the best things about Britannia Plaza used to be how easy it was for locals to park. Sadly, that’s no longer the case. I registered my vehicle, then went to Britannia Medical Clinic and after to Sunterra only to find a ticket for $98.00 on my hood. Appalling! I went upstairs to the office and spoke to the receptionist in the owner's office or property management office (couldn't tell - no signs on doors) She initially offered to help if I could show proof on my phone, which I appreciated. I explained how overwhelmed I was — having just received a $300 speeding ticket the day before — and as I wason my way to get my phone from the car, she said, “Stop complaining.” I turned back to clarify, “This isn’t complaining, it’s a statement of fact. The ticket is in error! " She replied, “I wanted to help you, but now take your ticket and get out.” This woman was downright nasty! On a positive note, I want to thank Sunterra, who kindly covered the fine because I’ve been a loyal customer and spend a lot there. I was simply trying to go about my daily errands — like so many others — when profit-driven decisions got in the way of basic decency. That lot is a nightmare and always take a picture of your registration so you don't get bogus tickets!

One of the best areas to explore in Calgary. Cute quaint neighborhood! Go to dinner at Native tongues, walk across the street for dessert at Village ice cream. Village ice cream is a local creamery that serves the best salted caramel ice cream I swear! After walk to Stanley park and take in a great view of the Calgary landscape ❤️

Though it was 8 at night on sunday, still huge lineup We waited about 30mins. The staff was very friendly, kept asking us to try out the varieties before actually ordering. We all had a great experience on this ice cream parlor.

Great Plaza. Options for a good coffee , ice cream, or shopping. Also, close to the sandy beach if you want to go for a walk by the river , burn some calories, ir just relax.

A nice 2 blocks of several great establishments with easy access and lots of accessible parking. An easy walk around with coffee, groceries, restaurants and child friendly stores
