Hazeldean Mall

As a local living in this area for 15 years, I can see Hazeldean mall is starting to revive and becoming a popular go to place for all family members (old ones and young ones 🙂). It has Good Life Fitness, it has TNT with yummy hot food, it has Cheer Sport Sharks! And there's news that Funhaven indoor amusement park will be there soon... I'm pretty sure there will be other eat and drink like Bubble tea coming soon. There's one comment I would like to point out for the management. That is the parking is getting clouded and the way it is designed is difficult for traffic to move. Hopefully, you will come up with a way to solve this.

This mall is really conveniently located at an entry to the Glen Cairne residential area. It would be a great mall if they could get good businesses into the mall. It needs a food court, and another anchor store to draw people in. There are some good businesses left but a lot of long-term stores have departed.

It is a small mall that looks very sad at the moment. Even before the pandemic, the mall did not get too much traffic. After the lockdown, it looks like a sinking ship: the Independent grocery store is gone, many stores are vacant, the food court is empty. With the GoodLife Fitness opening a new 24/7 facility here, there may be hope for the mall. Some stores are still operating. So is the Hazeldean Dental Group, an optometrist, a shoe repair shop, and a tailor shop. Santa Claus photo sessions are still happening this December.

Clean. Basic mall, glad they put a T&t and GoodLife in. Hopefully it can bring more business and traffic to that mall.
