Island Petwear

Yesterday evening my wife and I were on a trip, and noticed Island Pet Wear as we drove by. We turned around specifically to go there, after all we had unfortunately just lost one of our dogs this week, and we thought it would be great to aid to the grieving process. We were looking to get something for our remaining three dogs. However the experience before even entering the store was not so pleasant to say the least. We were met outside by the owner of Island Pet Wear who started belittling us, insulting us, which then turned to threatening us. She then deliberately went of her way to move her vehicle forty to fifty feet in a failed attempt to block our vehicle, and blocked the crosswalk in doing so. Going out of your way to try and destroy other people's days that may be going through their own ordeals is not acceptable. I'm not about to sit down and take belittling, insults & threats from anyone, especially the business owner of the establishment that I specifically turned around to go spend my hard earned money at. I understand everyone has bad days, although by the sounds of other Google reviews this is common practice for this particular business owner.

The older lady there was absolutely one of the rudest people ever. I’d be surprised that anyone would want to shop there or even just be in her presence. I’ve never given a bad review, she deserves this one 100%

Pets are always welcomed warmly in the store.

I was disappointed at the rudeness of the woman working the store. Sadly, I will not be returning because of her poor attitude and complaints the entire time I was in the store.
