SmartCentres - Oshawa North

Since I work at a Childcare Centre that’s Egg-aware, nut-free and halal (I know right!), we source our groceries from Walmart. And the best part? They have a massive toy collection for all age groups. Need a storage container for your toys? Walmart. Need office supplies? Walmart. Need Organic Foods for an infant? Walmart. But guess they will have to either boycott U.S.-made products to survive in Canada or take it upon themselves.

This Walmart is pretty much what you’d expect—lots of variety and decent prices. It can get busy at times, especially during peak hours, but it’s convenient for grabbing everything you need in one trip. The store is usually well-stocked, though sometimes the lines at checkout can be a bit long. Overall, it’s a good option for everyday shopping, but nothing out of the ordinary.

The entry and exit to the store is now through the Home and Pharmacy entrance. We went to the store around 10.00 a.m. There was a line up to get into the store, less than 10 people in front of us. We probably waited about 5 minutes or so to get in.A lot of clothing items were on sale. As always, great products, competitive pricing and good customer service.

Walmart’s usually got what I need, but sometimes the shelves are messy or items are out of stock. Prices are decent and it’s convenient, but the overall experience can be hit or miss.

You can find marshalls, best buy, homedepot, dollar tree, walmart, superstore and much more at the corner of Tanton and Harmony. 👍
