Southgate Centre’s new section is impressive. The redesign adds a modern, open feel with warm wood accents, sleek lighting, and layered seating that invites you to hang out - not just shop. The tiered benches with built-in greenery give the space a fresh, stylish vibe that feels more like a boutique hotel lobby than a mall. It’s a perfect spot to grab a coffee, people-watch, or take a break from shopping. Between the layout, the lighting, and the attention to design, Southgate’s definitely stepped things up with this new space.

it's clean but definitely a chaotic shopping mall! It doesn't have a very good architecture so you have to come here at least 20 times to memorize where some things are because you can find Starbucks next to the mobile phone store! It doesn't have a wide range of restaurants but I have to say it's a very clean shopping mall I'm only giving it three stars because it's clean, if the person who designed it reads this message it's my own opinion my own opinion I think he should quit his job as an architect it has terrible architecture!

I liked this mall with variety access to big stores like crate barrel, London drugs and dinner. But Alert parents! The stroller at the mall is a ripoff. It charges you $12 to use which is highly priced to begin with, when you return the stroller, it will be stuck at the rail and you cannot get $2 deposit back. We saw 4 parents gave up on getting the deposit back. Hope this can address that fairness issue, the mall management can enhance our shopping experience.

A great upscale mall in the southern part of Edmonton. Have variety of shopping options. They have best buy , game shop, and other clothing stores. Food court is good. With Thai, Mexican, Japanese, Korean options.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Southgate Centre – My Go-To Mall for Everything I Love! Southgate Centre is easily my Second favorite mall in Edmonton—it’s got a great vibe, an awesome selection of stores, and it’s always clean, well-organized, and never too overwhelming. Every time I visit, I know I’m going to find something I love, whether I’m just browsing or on a mission. Here are my go-to stores at Southgate: Makers – Such a cool selection of unique and creative items. Love stopping here for inspiration and gifts. Alo – The vibe, the quality, the style—everything about this store is just on point. Fossil – Always great for timeless accessories and quality leather goods. GameStop – My go-to for Pokémon cards and collectibles. The staff here are always helpful and friendly. Winners – You never know what gem you’ll find! Love the thrill of the hunt here. Crate and Barrel – Beautiful, high-quality home goods and decor. I could spend hours in here! Apple – Always sleek and efficient. Love checking out the latest tech and getting help from knowledgeable staff. Restoration Hardware – The showroom alone is a visual treat. Everything is so stunningly designed. Indigo – Books, gifts, cozy vibes—need I say more? A must-stop every time I visit. Chachi’s – Best spot for a quick bite. Their sandwiches hit the spot every time.
