If you are looking for quality produce, meats and cheeses in Ancaster and Area, then this is the place to shop. They also have a great kitchen here for a ready-made take home meal with better prices than your local restaurant and are like homemade dinner. They have daily ready-made meals specials. If you have a Longo's Loyalty Card there are other specials as well. A well stocked beer, wine and coolers section too. The staff are friendly and if you are looking for something in the store, the staff member will walk you directly to the item instead of pointing or giving an aisle number. Hey....they still bag your groceries, bring your own bag or they will sell you a reusable one for a fair price...bag your purchases with a smile.

Longo’s is one of my favorite grocery stores for consistently high-quality produce and an overall pleasant shopping experience. Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh, vibrant, and well-stocked. The prepared food section is a huge bonus—especially the salad bar, which offers a great variety and is always clean and well-maintained. Their hot food and prepped meal options make it easy to grab something quick without sacrificing quality. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and I appreciate that the store never feels overcrowded, making it a relaxing place to shop. Longo’s really strikes a great balance between quality, convenience, and service.

Good selection of shops and all purpose outlets.

If you have to venture into a soul sucking shopping area this isn't a bad alternative. Set over 2-3 hectares it has just about everything you'd need. Lots of parking but if you rely on public transit you're out of luck.
