The mall is about 7-8 minutes away from the nearest metro station, and while it is slightly slower moving than some other malls in the city, it gets the job done in terms of variety. There's a Sephora, Best Buy, Walmart and a host of other popular brands. Parking isn't difficult, and with its proximity to the metrostation and nearby bus stops, public transport is also an option to get there.

When I first came to Toronto 13 years ago, I remember seeing negative reviews of "Dirty Duff" with grocery bags stuck on winter tree branches outside. I remember stumbling inside Galleria Mall and wondering if I was in the 1970s. But when I actually entered Dufferin Mall, I didn't see any issues. It's mostly a one-storey L-shaped mall. Walmart and No Frills are the main draws for coming to this mall. There are many other places to buy clothes at regular retail prices.

Long time drop by spot for everything you need because there’s a Walmart! And no frills and lcbo and winners and toys r us and and and 🤣 it’s a good mall to stop at for pretty much one stop shopping! They also have the stores in the mall which often have good deals. Not just budget shopping. You can find lots of great stores to shop at.

Our recent school trip took an unexpected and frankly baffling turn with a visit to Dufferin Mall, an experience that unfortunately fell far short of any educational or even enjoyable expectations for a school outing. The fundamental issue was its complete unsuitability as a destination for a large group of students; it's a shopping mall, not a curated attraction, and this became painfully clear almost immediately. The environment at Dufferin Mall was chaotic and overwhelming, especially for managing a school group. It was incredibly crowded, noisy, and bustling, making it a constant struggle to keep our students together and accounted for. The sheer volume of people, combined with the typical commercial distractions of a mall, meant that maintaining focus or fostering any kind of group cohesion was nearly impossible. It felt more like a logistical nightmare for our chaperones than a purposeful trip. From an educational standpoint, the visit offered virtually no value. There were no exhibits, no historical context, and no unique features to engage our students beyond typical retail consumption. The attempt to turn a shopping mall into a 'trip' was misguided, leading to a general sense of boredom and restlessness among many students who quickly exhausted the novelty of wandering through shops. It lacked any sort of a narrative or objective that would justify its inclusion on a school itinerary. Furthermore, the general ambiance of the mall felt tired and uninspiring. It lacked the modern amenities or welcoming feel that might make a large public space more palatable for a group visit. The limited seating in the crowded food court presented further challenges, and the overall experience contributed to a feeling of stress rather than relaxation or enlightenment for both students and staff. In conclusion, Dufferin Mall was an utterly perplexing and largely disappointing choice for our school trip. It offered no clear educational benefit, presented significant logistical and safety challenges due to its crowded and commercial nature, and ultimately provided a very unmemorable experience. We strongly advise against considering Dufferin Mall as a suitable destination for any organized school outing in the future.

Pretty good well rounded mall. KFC, Claire's, and 3 floors. lots to do. Reccomend. Mainly dominated by the walmart.
