Took some photos of some small items to share with family who were looking for some stocking stuffers for Christmas. In town for just one weekend this fall and honestly, the items were really great. Got completely told off for doing so by the super rude lady behind the counter (who I sure hope wasn’t the owner) who turned it into a confrontation. Such a bizarre experience. “It’s things like you taking photos that make me lose business” she said. There are two completely different ways of handling someone taking photos of the merchandise (which we had zero idea was ‘a thing’). There’s a graceful way and a rude way. She was definitely not graceful. We bought an item to honour the owner but won’t be back.

Staff member was condescending and pretentious when we asked some questions. Also overpriced. Drive 10 mins down the road to the shops in Picton where the same exact items are $5-$10 cheaper and shop owners are kinder.

Great little shop! Well merchandised kitchen and housewares. I pick a little something up every time I'm in Bloomfield!
