The Great Canadian Dollar Store

Just went in with my friend, we are in our mid twenties and got told to not bounce a ball to see if it worked, we then got followed by two employees who gave us dirty looks. The woman who yelled at us to not bounce the ball was also a customer at my old job and is known for being very rude, glad to see she channels that energy into her work too. It was also my birthday not very demure or mindful 😭

Lost a sale due to the fact I wanted to check to make sure a bouncing ball actually bounced. I am mid twenties I do not need a grown adult with hostile attitude to tell me what to do with a potential product I want to buy. Clearly needs to check her attitude relaying that they don’t want people touching there items when there was no sign indicating not to.

The staff were amazing, just prices are ridiculous. I will continue to shop at Dollar Tree

Too bad there wasnt a 0 star rating... I went there with my friends. Older lady with short purple curly hair was telling my friends "DONT TOUCH ANYTHING UNLESS YOU'RE GOING TO BUY IT". They weren't being disrespectful at all. They were simply looking at stuff and picking it up. They were also saying rude stuff about one of the guys I was with. Her and the other older darker lady were saying "oh and that kid that can barley see out of his hair, he probably doesn't do good in school" "if that was my kid, I'd be holding them by the hair". They two ignorent ladies were looking through the window "stalking" us. They had a crude look on their face and were just a bunch of 13 year olds, so i dont know what they were expecting, even thoiygh we were being nothing but quiet and respectful. They were just overall rude and miserable people. They should know they work in a public place in a small kind, happy town right near a school where kids of all ages are going to come in. I don't know what they were thinking when they decided to work in a small town with children. They were just over the top disrespectful and saying rude stuff about my friends that were doing nothing, but minding their own business and browsing. I will not be returning, unless it's to speak to their manager. I truly think these lady's should be fired in my opinion. The stuff they were saying about people was not okay. I will NOT ever come back because of this awful experience. Unless you want to be judged by your appearance, or up front mentally, I would not suggest stepping foot into this dollar store.

This is an incredible little business. They have just about everything you can think of crammed in there. Fantastic prices and the staff are so friendly.
