I go to the metro here, because it is close to my house and plenty of parking. Found some good buys.

Very clean, easy to navigate store. Fresh produce.

Poor selection of Butterball turkeys. Needed one larger than 9 kg and nothing was available. Also, I find the meat department has better cuts and selection of meat at the Metro on Bath Road.

Great, store clean, fairly fast going through check out. However, I think its important to always have all cashiers on deck (at the cash registers especially this time of year, as stores are that busy!) Cash registers should always be open and ready for customers.

The ladies that work at Metro are what make it a great place. The older lady who works at the deli counter always goes above and beyond what her job is. The other day, I went in, and I grabbed some sandwich meat. The lady got it all cut for me and packaged. Now, the meat I asked for looks identical to the meat she gave me. I couldn't tell the difference to look at it. Well, didn't I get to the cereal isle and the deli lady came running over and she said. "I accidentally gave you the wrong meat. I'm so sorry. Can I grab it off you, and I'll go get you the right meat and bring it back." I said, "Oh, Ok, thank you. She went and got me the proper meat. She didn't have to she could have let me leave, and that would have been that. However, this woman has a ton of integrity and came over and got it sorted. I was blown away. I truly believe she needs to be paid more. Not only this lady but all the staff are super nice and friendly. Which is nice to see in a service industry. As it becomes more and more rare with the newer generations in the work force.
