King Square Shopping Centre

This King Square Shopping Centre has opened for 3 to 4 years. It's a rather newly opened Asian Mall , bright and clean, has large outdoor and underground parking lots. It's a pity to see so many empty units, I think it only has 40% of occupancy . I think only the big Chinese supermarket can make some business. We all understand the pandemic has really killed all business, hope business can be picked up gradually . The food court is so empty during lunch hour, I think only 4 to 5 food stores are in business. It's sad to see such an atmosphere ! To the Google Map Administration : I wanted to say something about the King Square Shopping Centre, but the title here kept on saying that this is the " Shield Shutters" . I can see other comments are talking about the shopping centre , but the introduction by the business just talk about the shutters......there must be something that have been mixed up.

It is very sad to see such a nice mall to be empty. It was built with a lots of thought! There is a food court in the mall and it is empty. There is some office space on the 3rd floor. This mall had a lots of windows and it is very bright inside the mall. When I visited on July2019, you only allow to use their underground parking. All their light in the underground parking lot are sensors control. I do have high hopes on this mall as it is a nice addition to the area. Also looks like there is a supermarket under construction.

Spacious and quiet shopping mall that opened right before the pandemic. Most of the shops are vacant, but the anchor stores are a supermarket and Best Shop. There's some food options here too. The best part is that they have an underground parking lot that is warm in the winter.

Although the mall has been vacant for quite sometime, I'm happy to see it liven up as more and more businesses take residence here at King Square. With the introduction of Full Fresh suparmarket, The Best Shop department store, and all the other interesting little shops and services that have recently opened or are getting ready to open soon, I can see this place quickly becoming a hotspot in Markham! Also management seems to be putting alot of effort into the place too with their recent Lunar New Year events and generous interior decors.

A brand new, very large, multi-level, empty mall, with a beautiful centre court and a large stage for performances, elegant quiet food court with only 1 or 2 food vendors. The Chinese grocery supermarket is well stocked with dried and canned goods, bottled sauces, very fresh produce and meat & fish counters.
